@dr.david:

really nice pics! With autofocus they might have been a bit better - but still this is good enough for fun-shots.

is that really how a k610 render pictures? Maybe future firmware updates can mak ethe pictures more realistic (hopefully). The pictures posted looks like pictures whose noise has been removed through Noiseware. Kinda washed out.

K610, where is the camera lens cover? I love my V600i camera lens cover design.

The K610 doesn't have a lens cover unfortunately.

I havent done anything with those pics in photoshop or whatever, its just that the K610 is crap. It's a cheap phone that takes lousy photos and i have made my mind up, im going to buy a K800 on friday!

yup, that was what i was saying, the cam takes lousy pics, comparable with despeckled pictures on photoshop. sticking with the 750 a while longer.

I'm in Vienna right now and had some time to take some pics while waiting for my next meeting.

Some interesting banking builting

On the "Prater" - interesting construction - over 100 years old...

On my notebook those pics look quite good, far from being "lousy". But I'm not a photographer ... And of course I will check them on printouts as well.

The only pic that looks bad to me is the garden...

It was obvious that the mouse and the socks pic would come out ugly... i doesn't have autofocus... still, k610 has lower quality than 6280.. but not much imo

Here is another one from inside a church:

Here I used the auto-timer, because my pics always get blury, when I press the button and at that moment I move the phone a bit, too. So with the timer you can get better pics, even if the light conditions are not that good.
But I must admit - even though it is a church it is quite a lot of light inside.

So - my notebook is out of battery soon - I'm offline for a few hours now ...

I reckon SE have put agressive noise reduction on the K610. The photos it produce (in low light as well) seem to have minimal amouns of noise, but too much of an 'oil painting' look.
