Anyone tried this on any UK network yet?

I currently use a Blackberry 8700 and I;ve ordered my M600, and hoping to hell that this Blackberry Connect will work on theM600 on UK Voda.

I'm quessing it simply gives you a PIN as a normal blackberry does, and then I can just plug that PIN and the M600 EMEI into my blackberry page?

Thats exactly how it worked for me with VDF Germany, so I guess you shouldn´t have a Problem with VDF UK

Blackberry Connect works fine on my M600i here in the UK with O2. The pin number is generated by the phone provided you have provisioned Blackberry with your your network operator

Yes BB Connect should be able to view all attachments. Only thing I need someone to confirm is it if conflicts with the M600's attachment viewing abilities that are part of the firmware.

Furthermore I want someone to test on the BES 4.0 & 4.1 server!

@floatlite, yeah it'll work fine I'm sure Got it working on the *shrugs* Nokia E61 pretty easy. Just change the PIN on your account at http://mobileemail.vodafone.net (Under profiles I think 'Change Handheld' or something like that)

Hi..

just talked with A1 in Austria.. (vodafone compliant).. they still keep the m600i out of the BlackBerry Service..

they will kind of unlock theire service (just don't know exactly what they mean with that), when they are going to sell it in theire shops...
(end of august, beginning of september)

so, in case it doesn't work with your provider.. they still might not allow the m600i to access the blackberry service..

cheers

I recieved my M600 today, and updated the software to R4 straight away, then installed the Blackberry Connect client. Changed my handheld over on my web access on Vodafone.

2 min later, got the registration email, and bingo it's working a treat!

Marvelous, time to retire the old Blackberry 8700v.

Called up during the week to set-up BB Internet service on my T-Mobile account. Was working within 10 minutes. Very pleased!

I'm using a twin sim adaptor in my M600 now an have enabled blackberry on both accounts, one Voda (work) and one O2 (Personal). Amazingly both work a treat!

Just posting this from new toy my Nokia 770 internet tablet, now i'm not very Nokia friendly, but this rocks, and fits in my trouser pocket!

Installed it on my M600i, registered with Telenor Sweden (previously Vodafone) and it finally worked after 2 months of frustration!

Thanks!
