Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you all know that following yesterday's announcement by Sony Ericsson and Indosat about the availability of Blackberry Connect for the M600i, I've been searching the Indosat website and eventually found the sis file for the M600i.
If you go to this link:
http://www.matrixcentro.com/micro/blackberry/se_600i.php
then scroll down, on the right you will see Blackberry Connected and the M600 listed. The last entry downloads the sis file. In the zip I found two versions, one for R1A and one for R3A. I have the R4A firmware and the R3A version works great on Orange France.
Good hunting!

Does your operator support Blackberry and do you have the service activated?
If so then once you install the blackberry connect app, go to the settings and you will find your PIN and IMEI. You need to type those into your operators blackberry website and you should be good to go, my M600i grabbed the service books all on its own.
If you need more help, let me know.

Has anyone tried to see how the BBConnect software works with viewing attachments?
I gave up on my BlackBerry 8700c when I got the ActiveSync software working on my m600i. However, with ActiveSync the whole attachment gets downloaded uncompressed before you can view it while with the BlackBerry it would process the attachment on the server and then only download the pages that you viewed. Much faster (and cheaper if roaming) ... |
