It's most likely the crappy BT with this headset. With my Z800i it disconnects sometimes too. And the really freaking part is that even it is disconnected, with the phone it still shows as connected.
You find out when you want to make a call or receive one and then...cannot talk through the headset.
Really disappointing. |

True. I am less than impressed with this headset. The sound quality is okay. My Plantronics 640 sounds about the same and can connect to several devices all at once. What was SE thinking?

It seems we all agree that SE shot themselves in the foot. I can see two developers standing there saying: "I thought you designed the ability to connect to more than one phone and the other guy saying, I thought you did it".
Oh well.

With all else being equal I do like it. It is comfortable and I have been wearing it all day with sun glasses. The battery life is pretty good. Outstanding in fact. I got it on the 21st and have not recharged it yet. Still seems to be going strong. All in all I am okay with it. Considering it was a gift, I would still pay for it.

Mine does too, sometimes, and then it seldom autoconnects back again. The phone says that pressing the power key on the headset quickly will make it reconnect, but it does not. I have to do it from the BT menu on the phone, or with call key on the headset, initiating voice command.
Apart from this I like this headset very much. I find it comfortable, I am impressed by the sound quality, and very impressed by the battery! I have not actively talked that much on the headset, but it has been turned on most of the two weeks that I have had it, and the headset still states that the battery is close to fully charged. It has not been connected to a charger since the night after I bought it.

I still like it a lot, too. Still have not charged since night after I bought it.
I have not used BT HF much, so I do not have much to compare it too, but I find it very comfortable, and I am usually very sensitive to things stuck around my ears, making it difficult for me to find glasses that I can stand wearing. I often forget that I have this thing on me. It does not block out surrounding sound, and when actually using it for phone calls I think it sounds great. I never have to adjust sound volume and it is never difficult to hear the person I am talking to. Nobody has complained about the sound in the other end, either, except when I was waiting for a train and a freight train passed by right next to me.
I wish it could be paired with more han one other device, but I am not sure I would actually use such a feature.

Hi guys! Can anyone please tell me if the headset GV435 can receive music from mobile phone. I mean, will I be able to listen to music (both mp3 and radio) from my SE K800i?
Maybe someone has tried such feature. I will appreciate any sharing of experience for this is a key factor in deciding to buy/not to buy device. |

Then it's a pity I liked its design.
Maybe any of other headsets can? I mean exactly ear-sets, I know SE HBH-DS970 can do this (actually it's meant for the job), but it's not really wireless

Ah that really is a shame, i would definately have bought one if it had that feature, this may sound dumb but can the firmware of a :bt: headset be updated lol or maybe the phone in question to allow this to be achieved?

I think this is probably the best head sey I've ever used. I have had every headset from every manufacturer, and this is the best in sound quality and the crispness of the sound is just fantastic. Battery is excellent.
In my experience, the more phones u sync with a headset, the perfomance of the headset deteriorates.
