Do you have to open the 6280 just to read or check for new messages? A work colleague has one of these and everytime she picks the phone up out of her drawer, all I can her is that annoying "click and beep" sound of her opening the phone.
Looks a bit chunky as well.

she has the annoying click on,
when I open mine theres no noise from it what-so-ever
I have used K750i/D750i the W800i and of course well the W810i is prob the same but in a different case and I think the 6280 is better but of course the camera is rubbish im still yet to upload anything from it to see the quality
Ps, slide closed you can check anything!

but of course, go for w810. it solid construction compared to the slider mechanism of 6280 which is creaky and weak. plus the camera is way way better in w810. plus the battery, the headset, the user interface... and the lists go on and on. don't be fooled with the QVGA screen of 6280. think what's beyond the surface. w810 is magnificent inside and out.

Both are good phones, but I've grown accustomed to the SE interface and what it has to offer. That's the very reason I bought a W810i 2 days back. I thought the K750i I was using was close to perfect for me, now that I have the W810i, I think I've finally found the perfect phone, for me at least. You get the cool flash themes, solid build quality, nice design that still doesn't look dated. All this in a phone that is small in size, big on functions. Couple that with MyPhoneExplorer and you have a phone that packs a punch! Or you could just go for the 6280 and never know what you're missing out on!

If you want my thoughts, go for the W810. It is an excellent all rounder (none of SE's new dumb phones are all-rounders), and none of its technology is outdated.

the 6280 is the better option me thinks it's screen blows the W series and it's 3G unless you want a K800i just use your imagination

What OTHER aspects does the 6280 beat the W810 in?

video recording (vga 15fps)
video playback
Loud speakers (two of 'em like n73/n95/6233,3D sound in PR speak)
screen size and resolution
A2DP

I wouldnt get the 6280 simply because its huge and looks very unattractive. Dont forget it runs on the older S40 edition and has low quality music playback quality.

A good replacement for 6280 is the 6500 slide.
