Yup then Saudi Arabia all in the name of oil.
This whole phenomena is a mystery, wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in a government agenda.

You can download the MP3 from here: www.letsbombiran.com

LYRICS:

Bomb Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran,
Bomb Bomb Bomb, Bomb... Let's Bomb Iran!
Let's take a stand and Bomb Iran!
They're Evil-doers yes it's true, there's nothin' left to do,
But Bomb Iran, Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran!

Went to Iraq, caught lotsa flack,
No turnin' back so while we're there let's just attack,
And Bomb Iran! Bomb Bomb, Bomb... Let's Bomb Iran!
They're a threat to me and you, there's nothin' left to do,
But Bomb Iran, Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran!

Troops will have to see, a tour of duty 3,
They may get the shaft and you know we'll have to draft,
To Bomb Iran! Bomb Bomb, Bomb... Let's Bomb Iran!
They got the nukes you know it's true, there's nothin' left to do,
But Bomb Iran, Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran!

Bombed Afghanistan, but gave up the Taliban,
Hey at least this rhymes with "stan" and that's enough to make a plan
To Bomb Iran! Bomb Bomb, Bomb... Let's Bomb Iran!
You're a commie if you doubt and my time is running out,
To Bomb Iran, Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran!

yes, yes, let's gloss over the fact there are some very good reasons to be worried about iran just now.

Whomsoever you see in distress, recognize in him a fellow man

Gelfen's special place where nobody talks to him anymore

@axxxr, aslavalekum bro. bombing iran will be bush's biggest mistake. this time around he is inviting doom for america & it's people. this aint like afghanistan or iraq where some parts of the populace were feeling oppressed. millions of iranian people are willing to die for their country & the iranian president is not gonna take bush's bullying.

The U.S. isn't threateneing to attack Iran at all, they are simply not ruling out the possibility of an attack.

As gelfen said, there is cause to be worried over Iran. The Iranian President has called for Israel to be destroyed during a time when Iran is developing a nuclear programme that could lead to the development of nuclear weapons. I would say that is cause for concern.

The Iranian government is stoking the tension here. They have a right to develop peaceful nuclear technology, but when there are calls to destroy another country it adds a great deal of tension to the situation.

@smartphn

The Iranian president is probably hoping to put on a show of strength in the hope of detering an American attack. He will no doubt be fully aware that Iran has no capacity to win a war with the U.S. Iran wants to be the regional power and what we are seeing at the moment is Iran attempting to flex its muscles and be accepted by the international community as the regional power.

The U.S. will not accept a situation, in which Iran has the capacity to develop nuclear weapons. If the Iranian government pushes too far then the U.S. will do whatever it takes to make sure they can't develop nuclear weapons. The Iranian President is actually quite stupid in my opinion because he could gain much stronger international backing if he didn't make such aggressive comments about Israel and also looked to play a meeker hand. As it stands he is backing Iran into a corner.

Not tackling Iran's cloaked nuclear ambitions might be another huge mistake.

In ten years time, if Iran still has that mad-dog president in power with nuclear arms, I'm afraid the consequences for the lot of us will far more serious than if the issue was tackled now.

If you believe the world is a safer place without the UN and with nuclear arms proliferating and with disagreements settled on the battlefield then good for you, I admire your courage.

I however believe otherwise.

@goldenface

Well said! Being a nuclear armed state is not just about becoming powerful, it is also about being accepted as such by the existing powers. Whilst China and Russia are not in favour of sanctions or military action against Iran I doubt if either wants Iran to have the capability to produce nuclear weapons.

You have to remember that one of the major goals for the major powers in the Middle East is stability to ensure the global economy is not disrupted through oil prices.

@scotsboyuk

Ahmadinejad might believe that posessing nuclear power is the way to go about gaining respect in the international community but his regular bouts of sabre-rattling against Israel is is hardly going to endear him to his neighbours.

A large portion of the Iranian population, and many others, would like to see him voted out of power, however the risk is betting on which will come first, that or Iran surprising us with nuclear missiles capable of hitting south eastern Europe.

I know which risk I wouldn't want to take.

They are the most powerful country in the world, that is what gives them the right. That is realpolitik. We might not like it, but that is generally how the world has always been run. The strongest nations are able to decide how the world is run.

Yes let's criticise Bush and Blair for a war and then hope for an even worse war! Are you really as ignorant as your posts make you out to be?

The Iranian President knows full well that he has no chance for winning a war against America. Iran has no missiles that could reach America for one thing. Here is a likely scenario for an Iranian nuclear strike on Israel (presuming that Israel didn't strike first.) As Israel detects Iranian missiles heading towards Israel they would launch a strike of their own, which would likely be large enough to destroy all of Iran's major towns and cities as well as rendering a considerable part of Iran and the surrounding region uninhabitable for years to come.

An added consequence of an Iranian strike against Israel is that the West Bank and the Gaza strip would also be rendered uninhabitable and there would likely be a number of Palestinians killed in the strike too. So at a stroke Iran would have deprived the Palestinians of their homeland as well as depriving themselves of their own homeland.
