@ori Well done on the purchase I think you took a giant leap with getting that phone, its a real love hate marmite situation with the phone..and I can actually say I LOVE IT...really retro and different...

But at 1000EURO I am a bit iffy of gettin one.

No offense, but am i really the only one to think it looks like a hi-tec egg timer?? And the price must surely be a joke..
Fair play to those who like it, if i won one in a raffle iīd sell it without even opening the box, thatīs for sure.

I found one very interesting and nice feature, when your battery is almost empty the phone automatic switches off its opening mechanism so you should open it like a normal clamshell. As soon as your battery is charged the auto opening function switches on.

not my cup of tea overpriced under spec ed , typical b+o really.
fair play if you like it designs always a personal thing but its not for me. i just cant get over the price tag, i kind of get vertu as there made from certain materials that can be expensive.
but enjoy your purchase who knows it may become a collectors item as i cant see many people buying them

I had the Nokia 3650 which had the novelty circular keypad. Turns out it's a really dumb idea if you want to do anything more than just type in phone numbers, it's a very slow system, there's a reason they released the 3660 which was the exact same phone but with a "normal" keypad - people couldn't use the circular one, I'm surprised other companies haven't learnt from this mistake.

that keypad is accepteable on a b&o fone, cos its a design fone, not an everyday handset. imo especially of this reason decided the designers for that keypad solution, not for the "normal" one.
