im so glad i paid for IM+ from shapeservices cuz both yamigo n smartvas are so inconsistant,plus status msg's dont work or give the wrong status,cant appear offline,cant see contacts online sumtimes or login fails. why did they even bother wiv 'my friends' if this is the crap service we get,no wonder networks take it away when they brand these phones.
sorry,but it has to be said,it sucks! big time! the potential is there,shame its only half a service 
If nobody wants it.. put it on eBay. |

I tried yamigo but all i get is the autobots' messages. i can't see any of my contacts online. even though they are online when i check my pc's msn.
i'm using a free java program 'mig33' it's cool. i think you should try it. www.mig33.com

Yamigo works most of the time,u gotta use http mode or proxy mode but it aint 100%,btw,i dont like to use java apps but i have IM+ as a backup. My Friends is kwl cuz u can use camera etc at same time.

yeah, guys -- Yamigo is working.
Not always stable, but it really works - i have setup MSN, ICQ and yahoo transport - and i can chat.
Even one week ago - they solved problem with Unicode i guess, 'cause before i couldn't get Russian messages. And now i can!
The main drawback - ICQ contacts are not fetched automatically, while MSN and Yahoo do.
ICQ contacts should be added manually, the manual how to do it are on their site.
The main advantage - custom polling interval, i've set it up to 10 mins, and it saves my money. |

Neither Smartvas or Yamigo are working for me atm. Still glad i paid for IM+ :)

The best is to get a S60 cell and use Agilemessenger. Nothing out there comes even close to its functionality and usability :)
