In my country at least, the w950 costs like 3 times more than M600 and for mails, typing etc... keyboard in m600 is great and very easy to use (even though i does not seem that way). For me and seeing the differences in price and characteristics, i went for m600 and dont regret it |

yeah the m600 is fantastic - i really dont know whats taking SE so long with the w950? maybe they want the firmware to be mega-stable if its going to be used by walkman users? |

I was frustrated with the M600I intially but it really has gotten better with every firmware update and is awesome now.
And the keyboard is awkward in the first couple weeks - but then you really get used to it and reach a huge comfort level and then you cant imagine not having it because once you figure out the rocker action and have confidence in it, IT WORKS REALLY WELL. Seriously. The confidence is the thing because then you just type and dont worry and you see the speed and the ease. The W950 wouldnt really offer you that keyboard.
That said 4GB is very attractive. But I mjst say that I quickly stopped using the M600I for walkman and media after a while. Reason was that the sound quality was okay but not great even though I bough HPM-70 headset. And when I plugged my Etymotics Er-6i headphones instead the phone clearly could not power them well.
And playing videos - well the M600i takes ages to boot up a 30 min sitcom. So its okay but it aint no media powerhouse. Maybe its the chip I dont know, but I suspect its the RAM buffering. Is W950 going to be fundamentally different? Hmmm...
So if you get 4GB of W950 (unless it has a different audio hardware) I would worry that you are not going to have any real PERFORMANCE out of that file capacity.
For my money the only thing that could really make W950 more attrractive is a camera. And it doesnt have that.
So I dont know. Id just take advantage of price drops on M600 when the W950 comes out. That would be my approach.

That's a simple choice: M600i. I hate a intern memory why?
4 gb means a lot of crashes. look at the N91!
And just purshase a memory card with 4 or more gb.
its cheaper, better looking.
and the most inportant reason: hate data cable! why just because its very slow. and with a card reader much faster.
so i don't see a reason why i buy a w950i
oooh purple that ugly! |

I have lost faith in SE walkman phones with their hissing. Very very dissapointed that SE never fixed the hiss in firmwares for W800 and W810. There's better sound in the K800... so M600 for me. |
