I've read in the forum that in this new firmware we still can see background screen when launch Java apps that don't fill the screen.

This was the BIGGER BUG I noticed in the previous firmware and I can believe SE did't solve it... It's sad... k750 is a great phone, but since SE doesn't release a decent firmware fot it, the other phone companies are releasing new and better products...

Has anyone have a solution for this BUG?

That some Java apps don't cover the entire screen is not a bug, and it's not something that SE can "fix". It's up to the Java-application to cover the entire screen, not up to the phone.

As for the "use card reader" I think he's talking about the MS bug that's been fixed in R1AA008.

Try re-set your theme again.
I did encounter the same "bar progress missing" problem while send sms.
I re-set the theme, and it backs to normal.
Hopefully it works for you 2.

I know that not all java applications cover the entire screen... but in the early firmware versions of the k750, the parts of the screen that weren't covered by the java application were converted to black color, but now, they aren't and we can see the background theme color... That bugs me... I have a k700 too and the gaming experience is much better there, where the extra screen pixels are converted to black...

This is not a duplicated post because I'm not complaining abou the Memory Stick BUG. I'm one of those that never had it...

I'm talking about when you play java games that don't fill the entire screen, we can see the background theme... In the earlyer FW versions the background theme used to change to black when we played this kind of games... But now, it doesn't...

Don't all of you have this bug?

I use the w800 orange theme and when I play java games that don't fill the entire screen, I can see two orange bars one on the top and other on the bottom (more or less 5 pixel each one). This BUG bugs me a lot...

I know that this bug is not so frustating as the other bugs, but for me, is the only bug I have in my phone...

Have anyone noticed the same?

I have just succsesfuly updated my w800i , (im on orange) using the SEUS version 2. took me ages to connect, but i just kept opening it and finally got through, (as suggested previously).

the whole update took about 20 mins, and when i checked the version of software on my phone it says:

R1NA005
prgCXC 1250092_EU1_C
A R1NA005

I was expecting the R1NAA008 (or something along those lines) like others have said they have. Is this because i am on orange, does this update get rid of the annoying MS problem?

The Update is still not available four EU1 users.

updated mine last night so didnt get time to check the phone out completly if any thing out of the ordinary shows up then i will let evey one know
i am new to SEUS but i have tried the java version and updated to R1NA005 last week and tried the flash version last night and updated to R1NAA008 and no problems what so ever except for the long wait which went quite well
as 24 was on tv so was watching that and keeping an eye on the update
it was a breeze
and i have to add that i have never ever updated a cellphone in my life till last week so i think SE is doing a damn good job getting us the updates

K750, HBH600 & V3 black
