Hm only released to the service centers not on SE:homepage (SEUS) ONLY solves the problem with the memory stick (file corruption)
If that is the case....what the f*ck are they doing at SE?? Sitting on their hands?? What about all the other issues/problems with the phone??

Hey you Swedes here, what do you say, why donīt we alltogheter make a common cause and report this to our "allmänna reklammations nämnden" if the new firmware doesnīt solve ALL issues with the phone? SE have had their chanses!!

If i upgrade to the new firmware that fixes the memory problem will that mean that the phone will recognise the memory card and that i'll be able to write to it again? Or will i need a new memory card??

Thanks,

No you should be able to write again and the memory card should work. You maybe have to re-format it. If so, ONLY do it with your phone not in the computer.

SE are probably spending a lot of their time developing new handsets so that people dont complain that arent releasing new handsets every couple of months, which a lot of people do.

Well SE most ceartainly have people that are assigned to only work with software/firmware, but still they canīt get things right. Iīve studied basics in programming and have also worked at SE and i canīt understand why they canīt get it right(as it seems after two tries)! Yes itīs not the first time a company rush a product and release it unfinished and full of faults, but that doesnīt make it right to do so.
You make a software/firmware-test it by a test program-maybe test it on the hardware-maybe test it again by the test program - and also draw conclusions by the earlier(faulty) firmwares, to make it better. But the real question is how they can release a much much worse firmware than the original one to begin with...guess they just had to rush tings.

Hei Guys!!

We in germany also wait for the R1AA008!!!

But what i want to know is:

Is the Speech-quality / Volume better/increased??

I think all the k750i could be louder!!

This is a reall Problem for me!

Can you tell? Has the Volume changed??

Thank you!!

Check the later posts and the first post, where you also will find facts about newer firmwares. The guy who started that thread updates facts about firmwares on the first post on that thread.
Dontīt know if that will help you but i think you will get one of the better threads with good updated facts and point of views. There are also others threads. Also you can search in the "software"threads.

Hi!

Just a little a question.. Where can I see which firmware I currently have installed on my phone? My reason for asking is that I just got my w800i and I think that I have the latest firmware already..?!
