I never really was a big fan of the 8800 but this has now got my attention...This is a stricktly Limited Run of only 250 worldwide so will obviously have a premium price i presume.

agreed. also probably a firmware update if this has any customisations there. The V600 did and people simply updated their standard V600 to the Aston Martin software
talking of branding phones like this, do you know you can still pay well over £100 on ebay for a Jaguar Startac? incredible!

it will just be an excuse to rip people off even more for what is already a hugely over-rated phone. I have never seen the attraction of the 8800. Seems to just have a ridulous price tag which it doesn't warrant and is simply a phone for 'look at me' types. Not got any desire to own this or the original version. and this is despite my huge love for astons!

I'd really like to know what kind of Packaging this 8800 comes in as the V600 came in a really smart wood and sliver box.

Axxxr i think it would be wrong to Aston Martin on the phone branded since Porsche designed the phone.. or not?

On other brands . . . I saw Ferrari made something similar to this one with the - 'Compaq' notebooks . . .

hehe.. what i meant was that Porsche design the case of the 8800 so if i would brand something on it it would be the Porsche branding. Everything else would be cheating on Porsche..

Yes but you have to understand that Porsche does'nt just design cars these days...they design everything from bikes to kitchen knives aswell...Just like Ferrari designers Panin Farina who also design many other makes of cars and even a mobile
