I don't think so, I preferred the little LEGO guy that hangs from the earphone wire he makes me smile

Patience, the new iTrips are out very soon, and I'm sure there'll be a new iGuy within a couple of months.

Unfortunately no, it's the dock connector one, though you could buy an external one that is powered by batteries, and just plugs into the headphone jack. True, it's not the same as the iTrip but you can use it with the dock.
I bought this one in the states, and it does the job TuneCast II Mobile FM Transmitter

Hmmm, has anyone seen this:
External Battery 6000 mAh
Looks interesting, I might get one for when I'm going to be watching lots of videos, though Lik-Sang doesn't give any idea of the extended battery life given, though at 6000 mAh it should outperform other similar accessories I've seen before.

that looks cool, but looks a little big, and if its in your pocket with iPod , it could scratch it, if you dont have a case

This site seems to have a lot of information on the battery, it says that it's about the size of deck of cards and will give ~100 hours extra battery life, so I'm guessing that works out at around 15 hours of extra video playback. Sounds good!
As for it marking the iPod, I wouldn't (and I wouldn't advise anyone to) carry this around in a pocket, I'd keep it in my bag or something, and then just use it when I need it for LONG periods of time.

Well, normally I'd agree that black was definately better, and for any other device I'd say black is the way to go. But, for the iPod, the only colour to get is white. An iPod just doesn't seem like an iPod to me unless it's white.

I completely agree....ipod has to be white, for me a black version would be like buying a black Apple G5.
