p.s. "innovation" ba ng airnet ang "mobile telephone with data communication capabilities"?

I'm not saying na innovation ito ng airnet. I'm saying that this is an innovative technology that airnet chose to sell as a service. The same way when the gsm & sms technology was introduced in the philippines by globe. (GSM & SMS technology are not necessarily an innovation by globe)
I'm not proving anyone wrong, kaya nga most of my messages mayroong "it depends on the person". Not all the time puro positive ang sinasabi ko tungkol sa airnet, aminado naman din ako na marami pang pagkukulang ang airnet.
But sometimes, I may sound like I am defending airnet, I'm only doing it to show that there are also people who are satisfied with it. As you said... that's what this forum is for.

Airnet's 1xrtt data which comes with the voice service costs only Php 0.25 a minute or Php 15.00/hour compared to EDGE/Gprs which costs Php 0.25/kb.
Theoretically, 1xrtt is just as fast as EDGE... |

sms from airnet to airnet - swak
no success sending/receiving from other telcos.
can't make or receive calls to innove phones. with pldt, 3/5 pasok din ang calls.
dunno about bayantel, digitel phones.
as for the coverage, hindi accurate yung names lang ng places. I'd rather see the coverage map specifically.
@dlreyes
promenade at greenhills is a fringe area. sinuwerte pala si violet na makipagmeet sa atin doon.

No connection yet except for PLDT phones.
There was a time when Smart and Globe mobile phones were connected at least with voice but as with any new start up, telcos would probably block it to delay the hype in the launch. Globe, Smart (before PLDT bought it) and Sun have experienced this during their first 2 years... |

CDMA antennas are different from your TV, Radio or GSM phones. |

I doubt kung meron nang ready made na CDMA antenna don.. But you can research sa net and find out how to make your own CDMA antenna.. Spare parts of which can be bought in any of the stores i mentioned earlier..
http://shadowmite.com/wiki/in[....]our_Own_%22SPY%22_CDMA_Antenna
But if one is resourceful enough, a CDMA antenna can be made using a regular TV antenna or even a "coat hanger wire". At kung may talent talaga (wish ko lang na i have that talent), baka pati plantsa pwedeng ma-convert into a CDMA antenna.
