	how could i use mp3 song as my ringtone in sony ericsson k700i?plz help! |

ya the question seems like very foolish but when i tried to use my mp3 as my ringtone it give a message that it's not possible!! but the same mp3 my friend transfered his mobile and set is as his ringtone. we both hv same modle sony ericsson k700i. i can't understand anything. but my mobile play the mp3 as ringtone which is given by default. plzzzz help me!! how could i use my mp3 as my ringtone???   |

almost certainly you have a vodafone branded K700

You have also another (easier) choice:
 you can convert your file.mp3 into a file.amr
 What's this?
 It's the same audio standard used for recording something with your "record sound" utlity inside Entertainment group menu in your K700i.
 The file size will remain small and the sound quality played from your mobile speaker is also similar. Try it
 
 Download  a very small, easy (and also free) tool here:
 
 http://www.miksoft.net/mobileAMRconverter.htm
 
 After you have created your amr sound file you can use it as any other sound.
