are you pressing and holding or just doing a quick press? its the latter that is required to turn it off and on. I've had no issues with that at all

Thanks AGAIN...........i must seem like an ass(probably because I AM lol).........but in my defence i will say that in the manuall there are certain parts EVEN I skip............thinking erm i dont need to know how to turn the device on and off..............how WRONG was I lol.......but you would have thought it would be the other way around wouldnt you hard press for off and low press for energy conservation.
off topic and just a gen observation the contacts listing and options from that arent as good as the p910's I dont think..............whats your opinion?

you're kidding aren't you? its been a while since I have the P series but I'm sure the P series never had the vast array of fields that the windows mobile devices have

if you don't use MS outlook on PC you are missing out a bit because so so much of its content gets synced to the windows mobile 5 device.

I'll post screen captures of the windows mobile contact here for people to compare and maybe agree with you or me.

its not just the fields and i admit i havent had time to look thoroughly yet.................but for a start u can have so many mobile numbers in p910 and each gives you eg option to txt to...............useful in this age wen so many ppl esp young crowd i hang with that have 2 sometimes 3 different mobile numbers,,,,,,,,and maybe the functionality is made easier by the jog dial and top right button on the p910 to access options to work with a number whilst in contacts?

I also found out you CAN set each number in the contacts field to send txts to..so u were right it IS much better than the p910

Masseur do you usually just buy from expansys or do u recommend anyone ebay for digital memory. I am thinking of getting the 1gb mini for the jasjar so if i do buy the kjam in a few weeks i could transfer it to that too... 1gb mini on expansys is £61

I buy many devices from expansys, especially the i-mates as they get them first.

memory cards I usually get from US on ebay from any of the many sellers who have 20,000+ feedback but I got my 1gb mini from a UK seller at a good price

thats cheap if you can wait some days. I wanted mine next day

that seller has nearly 40,000 feedback with 99.1% positive so I would happily buy from him.

I'm waiting now for the 2gb which are slowly appearing from time to time
