My 12month old T68i is now retired to my mum's handbag. She only uses it occasionally and usually forgets to charge it until the battery dies but the other day i noticed that it was still on nearly two weeks since the last charge! (very little useage, no gprs, no BT, no unnecessary lights on etc)
Seems better than my T610, but i guess its cos i txt more and use gprs a lot now!
Have a look at some of the photo's on my site, they can be quite good (no adult content!)

I guess lythium polymer batteries have the advantage of the interdependent relation standby/talk time is not so direct...i mean, the decrease of one does not affect so much the other, one notices that, when u see the stanby time decreasing, but still remembering that the talk time u have stays almost the same (subtracted of the one u spent, off course)...

mine lasts 4 days, talking a lot, bluetooth on, lights off, but shut down at night.

I'm sorry to wake up this post again, but I just have to share this exciting info with you. I really love my T68i. I like its / her shape, functions etc. And especially its superb ability to take maximum from its mighty battery.

Now my T68i is 1 year and 7,5 months old. And just few minutes ago it set NEW STANDBY RECORD: 278 hours (11 days and 14 hours)!!! All this time my phone was constantly switched on and I carried it with myself everywhere. Though, I talked really a bit.

As I remember abut my T18s - after 1,5 years I had to buy a new battery and even the it did not last more than 3 days.

Long life to T68i all over the world!

Well, my old T68i battery lasted about 4.5 days when I was at home in London where there's a very strong signal, but on the odd occasion when I went to my parents house in in the middle of nowhere, the battery struggled to make it for 24 hours, even if it was left in standby permanently, with no use at all.

I found that battery longevity is entirely down to whether the phone is searching for a signal or not, the amount of power it uses to look for a transmitter/receiver must be pretty huge?!

normally get 2-3 days out of my t610, charge it every other nite as i don't want it to run out of life, halfway through the day when i am not near my charger. I use wap, gprs, bluetooth always on, and text + use camera, which is why it runs-down quickly, i bet between the hours or 9am to 1am an hour doesn't pass with my phone being used for something.

Coverage is everything. While in the city, i can get almost 3 days but when i spent 2 days on the road coming from France thru Germany, austria, hungary and romania, I got 2 days out of it..coverage is also tricky depending on so many factors.

I need to charge my battery every day.
I'm using GPRS almost all day,I take some pics with my mca-30 every day, send about 10-15 sms's and talk about 5-10 minutes. And when I'm home I use my t68i as a GPRS modem (connected to PC via bluetooth).I think that battery cannot last longer than this so I'm satisfied...

Cheers [addsig]

Now the only thing that keeps me from getting a t68i is the screen.Otherwise, i`d only buy it for its size and battery. This is one helluva battery we're talking about!

My record is a whole 290 hrs (as stated by the Standby Time reader) when I left it on, but never touched it.
