K700c/S700c is the chinese version (and are already displayed on their products page) and K700i/S700i is the version for other markets. generically they are simply called K700 or S700

the UK site is still being updated but already has S700i for that model

Thanks masseur...

BTW I would like to have a wish granted.

The z600 seems to have a product fault that the flip is getting loose after a couple of months...

Do you think that I can change to a K700 on the guarantee (since I guess that it will cost about as much as my z600 when I bought it).

But the guarantee things maybe depends on which country you are in

masseur: At least I do know that if they can't change something in 2 times (if the same problem still is there) I can do alot of stuff

My sister and her boyfriend got a brand new computer + all the money they've spend on driving to the computer store to return the computer for repair back since it still froze...

I'm not convinced that it does.

the product web page says

"Music machine, radio freedom
Listen to news or tune in to your favorite hit station with the built-in FM radio. Combine with a Bluetooth™ Handsfree set, like the HBH-600, and keep the phone in your bag - or just listen through the internal speaker."

which is a bit ambiguous to me and the press release says

"This triple-band GSM/GPRS phone has 65 k TFT colour display, facilitating high-quality multimedia and entertainment and the inbuilt speaker supports polyphonic sound for radiant ring signals and game sound effects"

and

"With its FM radio, up to 20 favourite radio stations can be stored in the K700 with the preset function. The radio, or even MP3 files, can be listened to through a portable handsfree or through the phone’s speaker."

but none of them mention using it as speakerphone

thanks! ok well looking at those I'm sure it does have a standard connector but it is as I suspected, there is a cover that flips open to reveal the connector

I'm liking this phone more and more!

About the design and materials:

---- From http://www.sonyericsson.com/k700 ------

The design statement
"The K700 design is revealing a new generation of ultra compact digital camera phones. The beautiful 3-tone harmony between the metallic blast-finished body, the contrasting subdued soft-feel frame, and the hairline brushed metal bezel and back is conveying a higher sense of quality." You sense pride in Creative Producer Henrik Jensfelt's voice when he speaks of the K700.

Slick finish - brushed aluminium
The metallic material concept conveys a slick design finish. Sober, clean, and on the camera side: Brushed aluminium. The K700 possesses the look and feel of a true imaging product.

---- From http://www.sonyericsson.com/k700 ------

Sounds really great. As said before SE-designers are the best!

ok don't jump on me now, i just want to note that eldar mentioned (edit: in one of the russian forums on his site) that this was NOT the 610/630 replacement...that would come a bit later... makes sense...
