This picture of teddy is taken with 5mpx Sony Cyber Shot Digital camera (settings are on 1.2mpx cos now it fair to compare this and S700i)
And this has been taken with S700i
Well im am amazed my self..
Ok, there is 0.1mpx lead of S700i cos its 1.3mpx but still.
S700i is crystal clear winner!
No doubt about it. Sony digital camera costed aroun 500e about a year a go and S700i 560€.
Sony is ment to be a real digital camera and S700i is ment to be a phone so that why im amazed!

How was the digital camera setup? I have a Sony DSC-V1 (5MP) and there is no way s700 can get better pics.... |

Yes... BULLSH*TT!
No way an S700i can take better pics than a Digicamera whatever it may be!
You just faked the results/pics.

No i didnt f**ke them up. Look, in camera setting u can choose that how many mpx the pic will have. There are these choises: 5,4,3.1 and 1.2 mpx. i Choosed 1.2mpx cos thats fair enought comparin Sony Digicamera and S700i.
Now, in this pic camera settings are on 3.1 mpx
now its sharper than s700i pic but i still think that s700i has more nicer and lifefull colours
And this pic is taken with S700i. Little noise on backround and the chair behind the teddy is more sharpen with digicamera.

Did anybody of you try to print pictures from the S700? With printing I mean in a digital lab where you'd go for 10x15 prints from your regular camera. |

@XoXo
Thanks for the info re the properties of photos.
@* I think it's really possible for a s700i to beat digital cameras with the same resolution. It was actually advertised as "better than some digital cameras with same resolution".
@peltsi
What light settings did you use for the cybershot and s700i?
