It seems as if there is a separate script to be applied in order to change the kb language.

I haven't tried it myself but as per the info given in a/m thread (which has been confirmed to work by one of the users) you should do the following:

Download XS++:

http://rapidshare.de/files/39691479/XS___v3.1.rar.html

Download the gdfs file for qwerty keyboard:

http://rapidshare.de/files/39[....]TY_keyboard_settings.gdfs.html

Run XS++, backup your gdfs, close XS++, unplug your phone, remove and reinsert the battery, start xs++ again and run the keyboard script.

Hi Guys

I got so excited when I saw you solved exactly the same problem I am having..
but when I ran to rapidshare the files had already expired..

anyone knows where i can get a hold of them now?

i had d same problem and resolvd it.. but why do i have 2 CDA codes, Organizer , and Phone code?? is that bad for my phone?..

Its been long time i have been using P1 with the arabic as a primary and base language. When i use the keyboard it gives arabic language in the first option and QWERTY Keyboard does not function its like normal 3 alphabet arrangement in the number keys.
Got some hope to change it but the links dont work, and i am not so good with the techinical steps.
Pls if any one could help me out now!
