No idea, but there is no way in hell I'm changing the OEM kit just to use it with the P990. I'd change the phone instead  |

BTW, I'm just waiting for the next P990 FW update, if it still doesn't work I'm selling it. |

Sounds like a good idea to me. P-series has had endless problems with BMW Bluetooth since day one. Mind you, so did K700, K750i... [sigh!]
Never been much of a fan of P-series myself.

Try these guys... http://www.parrot.biz/uk/ (obviously select the country your in). Although I agree with Enrique. Change the phone, not the OEM carkit.

Maybe so.... but BMW should take note, seen as other car kits don't have the same problem.. just a compatibility issue.
I have a SE HCB-700 which I have no problems with, other than it doesn't support contact list on the P990i
