As someone said earlier, i bet the cause of he squeaks is just because the plastics is new (rigid).

When i got mine the squeek was almost unbearable. now just 24 hours later its barely noticeable. I second that its just because of the newness. Wait for it to wear off |

Speaking of digipad, is the "select" button a bit loose on your w810s? like when you put your nail in from the lower end.. |

welcome in the plastic reality. buttons, covers etc will be usually "noise", thats the reason when brands prefer quantity over quality...

@kidscruff - good one! mine too!
@boba - yes, plastic casing is annoying :@ - i wish they only used metal framed, metal cases, but then again, i've found out that this isn't always the best - my mp4 back has just dented :@ - its metal...but i'm not opening it to try and push the bump out, because if the battery goes, and its still in its year warranty then i won't get a new batt! - nevermind....
but overall...cheaper, plastic joysticks are worse than metal ones....out of about 10 :se t200 i have looked at/used, only a couple were silent...but the keypad was rubber, and it was the keypad part of the phone that was noisey... |

Got my W810i last week. No squeaks from my D-pad. How long did it take before the squeaks began?

when I got mine (2 days ago) it was perfect at the store. When I got home and start to play with every function of it, after 3h of use, it began to squeak and still do today.
its pretty annoying...

My W810i d-pad started to squeak after 3 days... it squeaks less now then it did before. It's not a big deal to me. Not being able to email and all that Orange theme on my phone it WAY more annoying! |
