maybe they made the ps3 to alraedy include the M2... ya know? sony makes both... so they would have no reason to delay it becuase they already know about it

The next question is:
How much will a 1gig M2 cost?
If it'll cost just as much as a PRO Duo with the same capacity, then I'm all for it.

thats what is cool about it, new deviced will probobly be coming out... it could change alot of stuff, as someone mentioned earlier, new mp3 players etc... little watches that play movies and weird stuff... theres so much that it could be used for that we dont knwo about yet... and as also mentioned... they might have an adaptor so u can use it as a DUO also

Its NOT THAT MUCH SMALLER THAN A DUO.
All those inventions could have been done with the duo, its Not that much smaller, and the reader isnt that much smaller either, it wont revolutionize anything. Its just a smaller stick to maximize sales.

IMO it's just a gimmick....
Really something as big as the duo pro is fine, I for one wouldnt mind the double or more storage capacity....

its just a way for them to make more money... we all know it... they will make something that only takes the M2... so yoiu have to buy a M2... to add to ur collection... they could haev easily ysed a DUO for everything

sony's version of TransFlash. Gonna be more expensive and less functional. Just like SD vs. MSDP its just sony's competitor, if another company brings something out, all the rivals have to compare...

As long as there are people who buy any high tech gadget that they don't really need, just to show off to others, companies can do this. Now the SE M600 phone uses the micro card. |

yes, and only comes with 64MB micro card. And expect the micro cards to be almost twice as expensive as duo's.

well the phone with a 64MB card might be cheaper than a w990 (probably will be). But once you buy some decent memory you've spent the same or more.
