How these stickers work as they work when we call sombody or when signal is recieved or sent do they affect phone signal reception

Posted by MikLSP
They won't affect your phones signal.
I think they're activated by higher levels of the electro-magnetic radiation when the phone is in a call or receives a message etc. The same thing u can hear interfere with speakers

Posted by whizkidd
What stickers are you talking about?

Posted by harvey172
the 1s that flash which r stuck over the aerial.

Posted by whizkidd
Er....haven't heard of 'em! How do they work?

Posted by MikLSP
I already tried to explain that

Posted by harvey172
yea ya did ;-)

Posted by whizkidd
I meant, what exactly happens when those stickers work! Lol

Posted by harvey172
they have LEDs in them which flash.

Posted by whizkidd
Cool! Now where would i get one?

there was a fad couple kf years ago when EVERYONE who had a nokia 3210 had these stickers. apparently they took the radiation away from you as well. (is it any surprise that 3210 owners belived something as stoopid as that?)

Posted by HyperiaBlue
Those gimmicks work on frequency radiation, when a call is received or placed the RF (radio frequency) circuitry is activated @ higher levels...this picks up on those levels and then powers up the flashing LED's.
They most likely had an antenna to pick up those frequencies.

Totally stupid in my opinion, serves no real purpose! If you want to reduce radiation, carry a bag of sugar around with you (i mean 1-2,5kg bags) and put it between u and the transciever (transmitter/receiver) but then that would be pointless since u will not be able to have conversation.

I absorbs some of the radiation.
Best is use a handsfree kit.

It has nothing to do with ur battery IMO i was having it on my old nokias and samsung phones...never noticed any battery problem.

Posted by EastCoastStar
mine went around my whole phone and i had a clear case... and when i was on it, it lit up... maybe im talkin about sumthn different... but it deffinatly made my battery go down alot... but maybe im talkin about something different...

Promoted ones may have added stars. And follow responsibilities too.:-l

i thought you were asking @happy720 to post a picccc. ill look on the internet in a few, and post a link...
and...
@pradhika.. your posts always confuse me... hah

I've seen several different types of those flashing accessories here before, stickers and dangles. Lately I haven't seen anybody using it anymore. I don't think they take power from the batteries - they simply use tiny coils which generates current from the radio (electro-magnetic) signals from your phone - much like tiny generators. The current is just enough to light up a small LED.

Posted by EastCoastStar
I was lookin for a pic, but couldnt find one, and i dont have mine anymore. but i actually had to put mine on the little prong things of the phone that go to the battery, then u set the battery on top of that... mine always used battery power... ill try to find a pic again later.

@prads: That comment was for me

Posted by Debu
@happy720: Dude, they wont cause any disruption of signal, cause they work on hertz principal ( Wont explain that; as it involves 2 balls and a shaft , See if you can read Hertz experiment on EM radiation ) Anyway; Its like they have a tiny battery of their own, and suppose 5 people are using cell phones in a room, it wont effect your signal quality, will it? So there...

East c. Star, pl. Note this: confusion is the mother of clarity. :-D ha ha ha..

@Pradhika, I always enjoy reading your posts... they're so unpredictable!

I agree with @Debu, they don't interrupt with the signals that your phone sends or receives. Mobile phones transmit to all directions and only very few of them actually gets picked up by a cell site's antenna. It's those stray signals that are utilized by these flashers.

There were a few types.

1. Stickers with small LEDs

2. Cases, Battery covers and keypads which were a bigger version, more LEDs, more different effects which you needed to attach to the battery

3. Lanyards with an LED in the end (like where the SE logo is on their lanyards) - These work the same way as the stickers

I can't find a pic of a lanyard. Check ebay if you want to buy this useless junk. I like most went through the phase, but I got over it pretty quick.

:-) im SO sorry!!!!!!!!!

my mate had a 3210 with a few of the lights on the back, one of the key pads that lit up a hundred different colours and she got the colour of the screen changed to bright yellow.
damn thing looked like a christmas tree whenever she got a fone call!
