Are you going to keep the n82??

Posted by plankgatan

he he he..the A-GPS IS REALY COOL...but am i gonna use it ?????? thats the question...im not lost in sweden...he he..i know my streets, roads, etc

the a-gps feels more like a toy..you play with it some days, then you bored with it....

the wlan otherside, is something who i use more..BUT BUT for me its enough with 3.6 MB/sec Turbo 3G like k850 have..(wlan is luxury ...he he)

yes...i think i send it back...wlan...hhmmm.. thats nice....but thats only thing i keep it for, (if i keep it)...

njjaaaa...its enough with turbo 3g + k850 + 500 euro richer
(i have not decided yet)

hey plank..can u please rate my pics i have posted above...
wats ur take??
hew can i improve??

btw congos on ur n82

the first & fifth pic is good..(remember, its NO cell phone on earth who take perfect indoor pictures without flash, (even with flash its quite hard...the flash is quite small)

i also think you can get sharper flash pics....(try to take a pic on a friend...use iso.100..take several pics, then choose the best pic....i get realy good flash pics on my daughter....THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE CAMERA AND THE OBJECT IS REALY IMPORTANT WITH FLASH PICS...
(think ~ 1-1.5m is the best distance for a cell phone flash...it gives best colors...if you get to close..it gets little bleached)

i also think that the new firmware will improve the flash A LOT...and other stuff as well

here is some of my favo flash pics..think k850 gives best colors:

This is a thread for posting pictures from a K850i.

The only adjustment was made by Esato that resized the photo

i think its true...but the different is quite small...(lets say you can get sharp pictures up to 3 m with N82, instead of 2.5 m with k850...thats the different).

but keep in mind:...k850 flash produce better/more natural colors.....N82 gets some strange colors in peoples faces quite often, (if i guess. its depends of the camera-software)

here what i mean about N82 flash-color-issue....(i have seen quite many N82 flash pics, and many of them have this green/blue color in people faces...looks like zoombies...he he

If you look at the blown up pictures of n82 and k850 (flashlight image) , n82 seems to have more noise in the picture. o.o

But of course, n82's flashlight is brighter.

@n4d3r Good comparison!!! Interesting to see a 5mp digicam against the k850, but I must say the digicam are pics are much better, the details are more visible. The colors in the k850i turned out very good, other cam phones colors really come out saturated. However I think the macro of the flower is better from the k850i.

Camphones have come along way but I dont think we can throw away the digicams yet.

Posted by plankgatan
i think the tree pics there are nearly k850 better..but the rest there are canon better..i dont so big different.

favo car audi TT

@n4d3r,

Did you post the full size photos anywhere? I suspect that at full size it the difference in quality would be greater.

BTW, did you know that there's a camera phone on the market today that's using the same CCD sensor as the Canon SD400? I posted a one-shot comparison of that camera phone with my old Canon EOS 300D 6 MP dSLR with the photos here (full size) and here (full size).

I remember looking into the i-mobile 902. That phone takes a heck of a pic. Better than any of the other 5mp phones IMO. To think it has a sony ccd sensor in it! :0 Why would you not throw that in the k850? Off topic, I know.
