I am having boring salmon and chips for dinner, same thing every Tuesday. The joys of living with Grandparents.

@haynesy
Steak and Ale pie is gorgeous. Made with a can of Guinness, whole button mushrooms and shallots - really easy.
Mmmm
Cover cubed steak in flour, shake off the excess and and fry in oil until brown. Add tin of tomatoes, salt and pepper, mushrooms, shallots - whole, a couple of bay leaves and a can of gunness and simmer for 2 hours until reduced with the meat really tender in a thick dark gravy.
When done, get some ready made pastry from the counter in Tesco roll it out till £1 piece thick.
Remove the bay leaves and put your filling in pie dishes and cover with pastry. Put in the oven for half an hour. Done.
Serve with Mash and peas.
Or you could get some ready made pies from the freezer but nowhere near as good.

Don't quote me on it lol! Price changes are usually on a Tuesday night from midnight in most supermarkets, so i would get down there pronto. They may not have them tomorrow.
The tesco in the city centre by St Johns had them, pretty sure it was 2 for £5. There so yummy, we get the margarita and add our own toppings. There lovely and soft, mmm mmm.

I do a good chilli and home made curries too.
One of my favourites is Chicken with Roasted Vegetables which is really simple and very nice.
Dice a large potato and cook it in an oven dish with olive oil for 20 mins. Flatten some chicken breasts and cover them in pesto an place them on top of the potatoes making sure the potatoes don't stick to the bottom. Then cover them with roughly chopped Peppers, red onion and sliced courgette, drizzle with more olive oil and cook for half an hour.
Done!
