Maybe someone can help me with this.
My wife uses a SE T226. I use a P900. We both use the 2005 Honda Odyssey.

I'd like to get one car holder and car kit that will work for us both so that we can use the phone(s) hands free (one at a time is ok).

I was thinking of the HCH 30 Car holder and either the HCA 200 or HCA 20 Advanced Vehicle Handsfee kit. Does anyone know the difference between the HCA 20 and HCA 200? All comments on this configuration are welcome!!

Also do I need a HCC-30 cable?

How do I find out how to hook the kit up to the Odyssey radio system? Do I need a pro for this? Can anyone recommend someone in the northeast Massachusetts, USA area?

Does the HCH 30 adjust on the fly somehow for the difference in height between the phones or is this an install-time adjustment?

Thanks,
Paul T

OK, After an extensive search I came up with the following:

Your wife's T226 doesn't have a carkit available.

I assume you don't have the HandsFreeLink system (it looks like Acura only). I have yet to find a Honda with any cellphone pre-wiring or built in Telephone Mute on the stereo. Despite this a relay can be installed to switch off the Accessory power supply to the stereo to provide a mute function. Don't attempt to install yourself unless you know what your doing. Carkits are simple devices but late-model cars are frought with danger!!

The HCA-20 is an old version of the HCA-200. Go for the 200.
The HCA-200 is compatible with all S/E that support carkits.
The package should include the HCC-20 System Cable, HCH-37 Mobile Holder and probably an antenna to stick on the windscreen.

If you want a Bluetooth Carkit, go for the HCB-300 which has superceeded the old HCB-30. You can still use the HCH-37 to hold the P900 but without the system cable. Or you could use the HCH-30 as it can be adjusted 'on the fly' to fit both the P900 and T226.

My Recommendation? Get the HCB-300 and treat the missus to a T610 or any other phone with bluetooth!

Good Luck!
