Getting rid of T-Mobile fireware? |

I just recently bought a K700i from T-Mobile, and want to get rid of the software because I hate there fireware. It always say T-Zones in PINK, on the stand-by menu! There are also some themes and pictures which I cannot delete because T-Mobile protected them. And also it say T-Mobile every time I turn the phone off.
I was wondering if I got the latest firmware would I be able to get it? It is locked on ESL.
Can anyone help me? Please?

Yep, you can flash it with DaVinci or TMS. Have a search and you'll find plenty of info about them. |

They'll be able to update the firmware, but they won't unbrand it for you. If you want to unbrand a branded phone, you can get a shop to do it, but I'd do it yourself. It's cheaper and easier.

Well I don't know how to do it myself and don't want to buy a product just for that.
I might try a shop, any other ideas?

What would be better for me?
DaVinci or TMS?
I have the T-Zones crap they install on each phone.

I used Davinci to unbrand my phone and it worked perfectly well, however i have heard quite a few people complain and there are few complaints about TMS so it really is a matter of choice. |

You need a T28 service cable (not data cable), which you can find on eBay. This will work with both DaVinci and TMS. With DaVinci, you can also use a DSS-25, but only with DaVinci.

can anyone help me with flashing my k700i. so far all i've managed to do is turn it into an expensive, but useless, piece of plastic. its not even a very good paperweight....
