Hey every1. Fist off has anyones wap on orange uk been real slow today. Also i have a faulty power bit at the bottom and have had the phone since jan this year, would i beable get orange fix the problem for free and would i beable have a free f/w update off them. Thanks for any help P.s. Im in england
Also please could someone tell me which is better out of the R2AC003 and the R2AL001 Thanks

Orange GPRS is always slow!
If you're on an Orange contract, they'll swap the phone over within 6 months, but beware - it will be a refurbished handset. It will most probably come with the latest firmware though, and this is part of Orange's refurbishment process.
I've never heard of R2AL, but it will be newer than R2AC. Where did you hear about this version? I was under the impression that the latest is R2AG.

I ment the R2L, it was on another k700, i told thm that sumtimes wen i get a txt thn loose signal the screen wud go blank, thn flash on and of then go back 2 the normal screen, so it was replaced and this one does the same |

R2AC is newer than R2L, but it's not the newest. R2AE is the newest and is significantly better. It should solve the problems you're experiencing. You can take your handset to a Sony Ericsson service centre, who will update the firmware free of charge under warranty. |
