K700i firmware with O2 |

I know this has been addressed before several times all over the web, but I have found quite a lot of conflicting information, so I just want to clarify this.
I have a K700i and am on O2 in the UK. If I buy a DSS-25, will I definately be able to upgrade the firmware online myself? I know that the O2 version wasn't available online before, but I THINK it is now. Is that correct?
Also, if I do the upgrade, will I still be able to use wap, GPRS and email for free or will it someone wreck that?
Finally - Is it worth doing and is there any unforseen risk, assuming obviously I do it correctly (I'm not daft so I'm sure I will!).
Thanks everyone,
Geoff.

Hi Geoff
You are absolutely correct. Up until about a month ago, O2-branded handsets could not use the SEUS, but they now can.
All settings etc will remain.
It is definitely worth doing as there are some significant improvements since the early versions.
There's little risk to be honest. If anything does go wrong, there is a recovery option. If you're worried, just backup your phonebook and files before you do it. |

That's great Sebby, exactly what I wanted to hear.
Thanks loads,
Geoff.
