Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and hope my problem would be solved.

Problem : i got a new SE K700 phone just 3 weeks back and its working fine except that i am not able to see the red light which blinks on top of the phone.

Also is there any shortcuts for the loudspeaker feature.

by "not being able to see" do u mean its very faint or do u mean that it doesnt blink at all ?

If its the former, there's nothing that can be done, it was made that way

And by loudspeaker shortcut i assume u mean switching it on during a call ?!? Press the joystick and press 4 or u can scroll down to the option and select it
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !!

The red blinking lite is not supose to blink all the time but just to warn you that your phone need a charge

And if don't blink at all it is possible that you have a old firmware version, just upgrade your phone to the latest and you will solve your problem

Yep, I'm afraid there's nothing to be done about the blinking light, it will only blink red if you're battery's very low, it's the way the phone's been made, there's no way of getting it to blink like a service light I'm afraid! Not even a firmware upgrade will get it to do that I'm afarid.

Like I say in my first post you can check when type
>*<<*<*
where: ">" is to move jostick right
"<" is to move jostick to left
and "*" is to press * on your keyboard
Then in first option that apper you check the your firmware version, I think that last one is R2E033.
You can update you firmware by you one via internet but you need a SonyEricsson stand DSS-25,
but easier is to go to SE service and update your software for free, or it cost very little in other services.
