Hello people! I am posting to see if anyone could tell me how to get a Spanish T9 dictionary for my Mrs K700, it is an orange phone but only has eng, pol, etc no Spanish. Is there anyway of getting hold of a T9 Spanish dictionary for it, ie Spanish firmware ? Would it be feasible?

Yes it is, you will need to reflash your phone using Setool. Do a search and have a look at their website http://www.setool.net/

You need a DSC-11 cable and 1 credit, and the whole lot will probably cost you about £10.

You could also go to a SE service center where they do it for you - but not for free.

There's a list of resellers on the Setool website. Graham Brooks was very helpful in my case. He's also on Esato and his ID is gbrooks3, I think.

It's a very simple process if you follow the Setool manual, but slow.

Why wouldn't you flash to latest f/w? It's by far the best.

I got my T28 cable for £2.95 from an eBay seller called foneshak. They may have more, if not search ebay for T28 service cable, or google for DSC-11.

Send a pm or email to Gareth Brooks for credits. On here he is gbrooks3, or you can get his email via the Setool list of resellers.

I have found one, but it mentions a DCU 11 cable. Is that the same thing?

I think that cable works with the official SE online update service, but that definitely won't add languages for you, and probably won't work at all.

AFAIK the cable you mention can be modded to turn it into a DSC-11, but don't ask me how. You're best sticking with the T28 service cable if you want guaranteed Setool support.

This is tha cable you want, although not at the price you want:
