Hi

I have t610 , where can i get latest t1610 firmware update and what the current version.
I am having problems with cell phone signal . I only get one bar (signal) at home and in some areas at my home , i dont get signal at all .
I get atleast 2 bars(signals) with nokia and other phones.

Firware update would be helpful?. I never updated since nov 2003.

Take your phone to the nearest SE service centre to flash it with the latest firmware.

Se fones has real time aerials, nokia use some kind of booster.

A signal bar does not indicate absolute signal strength. One bar could be equal to two bars in another phone. Also with only one bar some phones can still hold a very clear call.

Sony Ericsson phones are said to be more realistic. That said, the T610 wasn't the best phone in terms of signal. I now have a K700i, and it is far better in terms of signal than my T610 was. Still loved it though.

I don't believe signal reception can be improved by new firmware. When someone visit you, take a look how strong signal he gets. Only if your reception is significantly lower, it's because of phone.
