Ive been searching the nett now for over 6 hours in my quest to find a IR remote program that works on k700i.

i realy, realy want to controll the tv, and if possible more of my IR based products

can anyone help me ?

I don't believe there is one for any SEs except the P-Series.
Honestly though its not worth the bother as when u finally find a device it actually works with, the range is about 1-2feet!!! Quite pointless really!

like MikLSP says there is none available (apart from the P series) as SE phones don't allow the java to access the infa-red hardware, so it is impossible to make an application.

I don't think it's possible with non-symbian phones. There's no Java API that I know of that can make you control IR, I think it's because IR implementation is different on different phones. However, if anybody knows, please let us know because I'd love to experiment on it. The range may be too short to be practical but it still would be interesting to make.
