Is my K700 broke after a Firmware upgrade? |

Having upgraded my firmware to the newest one i have a really bad problem with my wifes k700.
After doing a master reset the phone works fine.
I then start to change the settings to how we like it it still works fine untill i turn on the bluetooth and transfer anything and this is what happens.
1.Volume dissapears alltogether
2.Camera does not work (checking version number and there is no camera software installed even though it was there before as we checked)
3.When you ring out there is no ring tone in the ear peice
4.When it does connect you cannot hear anything nor can the other person hear you.
If i do another master reset all the problems go away and the phone works perfectly.
I'm jumping the gun a little but would you say the phone is knackered.
We have only had it a few days!!

Andru don't panic!
A few questions you need to answer first before anyone can help:
1) Where did u buy the phone from?
2) What was the firmware version before you updated it to the latest version?
3) What is the version of the firmware now?
4) Where did you get the firmware from?
5) Who / what service did you use to update the firmware?
6) Did you use SE tool or Multiserver or Davinci remote servers?

Hmmm, sorry andru, i am not familiar with Multiserver but with SE Tool. In my opinion SE tool is much easier and more up to date.
I think you need to reflash the phone with the correct files, enusring that your phone is fully charged before flashing it.
Remove your sim card and don't interfere with the flashing process @ all.
BTW: If you change the heading of this thread to a more appropriate on you may get more responses.
Multiserver boffins, please help andru!

@ don't shout
Well that could be your problem, but removing the sim card is a precaution.
My suggestion is still to reflash the phone. this time do not interupt flashing process, remove sim, ensure battery is fully charged. Ensure you follow the instructions to the letter that come up on screen and shut down any unecessary applications. Also make sure you are using the correct cable, and the correct COM / USB port and that the baud rate (transfer speed) for that port is set correctly. Normally 115kbs for serial connections and 948kbps for USB.
If you find too many errors occuring during the flashing process, reduce the baud rate to one level down etc.
