Hello ..
I bought a k500 today unbranded/unlocked. The problem with him is that when someone calls me and i don't answer, the keypad doesn't lock itself again. It remains unlocked and it can be pressed. Can anyone help me with this issue ? What can i do about it ?

OK .. here is goes .. i lock the keypad .. and the KEY apears next to the signal bar. When i get a call and i don't answer it, it says You have 1 missed call. Then the phone should lock the keypad again. But it doesn't .. it remains unlocked. So if the call key is pushed by mistake when the phone is in my pocket for example it starts dialing. At my k700 after i get a missed call the keypad locks itself back right away. Hope this is more clear.
One thing i missed. The firmware is R2AA

Yup. It should work something like this. If the keypad is locked, you get a missed call, you press the view now, yes, it will show keypad is locked, press * and then unlock to unlock. You unlock the keypad, look at missed call. Then after about 20 sec, the keypad locks again.

I know this is the way it should work, but when i get a missed call, i press yes to view the missed call, and it shows me the missed call, the keypad is not locked. After i press yes at view missed call and then return the keypad locks itself imediatly. I saw that k500 seus is online .. have someone tried it ? |

Hmmm... Try a reset mate. Else take it to SE service centre.

Did a master reset earlier. Didn't do anything. The bug is still there. The interesting thing is : when i get a sms message and the keypad is locked, it remains locked and when i press the keypad it asks me to press * and then unlock..I`ll take it back to the store i bought it.I don't have a SE service center in the city i live..Thanks for the help |

You can find automatic lock in the settings menu.

Greetings! i have a question to ask.. i bought f500i just 2 days ago and i copied my nubers from simcard to mobile and then i tried to reorganise my contacts (assigning proper icons and writting in emails)..what i found out is that lots of contacts starting with the same letter (expl. 'i') had copied the same nuber, and all showed that same number (from some previous contact), but when i press 'dial', it dialed the correct number...even when i want to add a new contact, that nuber copies itself to 3-4 contacts after it..i returned the phone because of that (and because when i turned it off, and tried to turn it back on-it asked me for my sim-card which was on it's place, no matter what i do...phone became useless). i got a new f500i, but the problem with misteryous copying same nuber to several contacts remains.. does anyone have similar problems, or maybe some kind of solution..thanx in advance.. |
