can i make s700 have bits of v800! |

Firstly can i say what an excellent forum, so many others are full of people who spend their life competing and moaning and this one is full of excellent helpful people who love life with SE!!!
Anyway after spending hours trying to not be upgraded to the "wonderful" 2Mp SHARP (what an ironic name for a company with the first 1Mp and 2Mp blurrovision camerafones - eek bitching already) for once Vodafone Customer Care actually "helped" me and I now have a v800 and s700 (ahem)...BTW this was an EASILY repeatable mistake which we could all be doing!!..... I dont really need 3G so I'm tending towards the s700, the cameras better and it just seems a better quality phone (up for debate?)
Apart from these bigger scale issues the firmware is almost identical bar a few bits and pieces eg. no panorama camera mode, no time display as screensaver in s700. It'd also be nice to be able to use the flashlight as a torch like the v800.
I know thats more of a harware issue but for the others the firmware seems so close i was surprised these nice little touches were missing.
Anyone know if they can be added ...or learnt, s700 is smart after all!

....p.s. SE advertises the s700 comes with 3 games including air snowboarding which looks cool, yet it came with only 2 neither of which were as advertised. anyone know what the score with that is? |
