K700i PC suite cant transfer mp3 files? |
Taipien Joined: Jan 20, 2005 Posts: 13 PM |
Guys im new here and this is my first post! I hope you can help me with my problem. I find the SE PC Suite for k700i soooo hard to use! BTW, im using DCU-11.
Here are some of the problems im experiencing when transfering files:
1. How do i transfer mp3 files to my phone? ( when i transfer mp3 files it converts it to a wav file)
2. How do i transfer pictures/videos from my phone to pc?
Are there other softwares compatible for SE K700i which are more user friendly compared to SE PC Suite?
Thanks in advance!

Pc Suite is rubbish, also v slow. Try this:
http://fma.sourceforge.net/index2.htm
Transfers mp3s 5-10 times faster than PC suite.

I tried that stuff too and still I consider FMA2 to be the best.

@Taipien
"fma2.1beta1-reloaded-setup" is the file you want. Bear in mind that this is a Beta version so there are a couple of minor bugs, but nothing major. Some of the scripting engine features don't completely work yet but the ones that do are fantastic! I use FMA all the time and swear by it! I've used it to upload a handful of mp3s to my K700 via bluetooth (which took a while!) so you shouldn't have any problems.
FMA is taylored more towards the T610 but I find it works pretty well with the K700.

I find the wizard build in to Windows XP with SP2 to be very practical, just right-click on a file and send, and use send file from mobile too. In addition with the sync provided from SE you have all you need.
It is very fast, you can select more than one file and it then processes one by one.

I know this is probably not helpful, but get yourself a bluetooth dongle as it is by far the easiest and quickest way to transfer data to and from your phone. |
