Hi,

Is anyone else having problems with syncronising their K700i in that it just copies all entries back to phone, creating duplicates?

My PC is XP (SP1) with Office 2003 - all patched up apart from SP2. Sync Station is 1.5.5.3. Phone has firmware R2AE033. I am connecting via bluetooth and all seems ok.

I have tried deleting all phone contacts on phone, copying them straight from PC and then performing a sync. All that happens is that every entry is copied again.

My Sync settings confirm select last changed item and contacts only. Full syncronise is not ticked, but set to merge anyway.

Is there a setting on the phone I need to check?

Hope someone can help.

Regards

Si

I believed there's a setting in "Sync Station" settings that say do not duplicates entries or something like that. I don't have my phone right now so I can't really check into it exactly.
BTW I have P900 not K700 but it should be the same.
If it weren't for bad lucks, I would have no lucks at all.

Sorry still no joy. I guess it must be a bug in R2AE033 although it is not affecting everyone....which is strange. You could try reflashing your phone again and check the log file to ensure there are no errors.
