Which phone ? k700 ?

Try deleting it using a third party software such as k700DateiManager, i had this same problem once where i could not delete a file from the others folder but i could delete it successfully using K700DateiManager
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !!

Hi,

Sorry I am using a P910i and I am not using any third party Software to try and delete like DateiManager.

What do you suggest?

Hmm,Tough nut huh?
Try this for last resort, Back up your PIM on the pc, then copy all the files you want to save, Hard Reset, Restore files, Restore PIM.

Ok I am just restarting the phone, I am not to sure this will work?

If I wanted to do a master Reset, Why does it ask me for a code before this oparation will take place?

Best wishes,

Just confirming and that you are not doing it by accident. Or done by a 3rd party without your consent.
