I've unlocked the network on my Voda K700i, will I now be able to update the firmware on the SE site??

Also as it is now network unlocked could I put another networks chip in to update firmware?

hello, i will try to explain to my knowledge,

BROWN = protoypes and developer phones
BLUE = empty phones basically straight from factory
RED = common, phones sold by SE retailers

Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

There are certaint cid numbers (found on sw menu) being blocked by the SEUS based on the topic I've read here but lately people who have updated their phones before could not do so now.(myself included) So better to go to your nearest center for an update (best solution) or try Davinci/TM at your own risk of course...hope this helps!

yes, after unlocking, the phone will accept sims from other networks.

and i have heard that you can update using SEUS only after you unbrand your phone (if there is any),

in my opinion. you shud try to unbrand and update at the same time using TMS/DaVinci/Setool.

You said that you have unbranded your phone so you wont get any kind of fw support from vodafone (correct me if i am wrong ) but you could use :se: website to upgrade your fw or else use davinci or total multi servers ... :-)
