Thats a tough question, but if it were me, id choose the 6630.
It has a better camera than the V800, but it needs an expansion jacket to make video calls.
Other than that, its more value for money than the V800 since its a smartphone.

Yup thats nokia's second 3g phone after 7600(which lacked video callin etc so was hardly 3g). Personally i'd go for the v800 coz i have no need of symbian...infact it'll open the phone to virus threats as well. Also the nokia looks ugly and i aint gonna spend more money to buy a video calling stand. And bein a se user i know that v800 will be better than 6630(considerin i wont use its symbian features) |

6630 camera is definately better than V800... but other than that it stays the same as any other nokia phones. Theres even review on 6630 based only on the camera.. coz the rest is the same. Yea its 3G for both.. but 6630 does not support video calls on its own. V800 has the x-factor of havin cool menu animations, lights, design, as a flip phone with an ability to take pics whle its closed is kinda cool too. Speaker sound wise... well SE has impress me with its sounds.. nokia juz sucks at speakers... but i've not heard 6630.. i assume its the same.
If ur gettin 6630.. i'll wud wait for its next model.. coz tats wat nokia do.. juz add an extra feature (assuming a dedicated cam for the new version of 6630 and maybe no bluetooth) on the same phone and tada a new model! And u wud wait a few weeks knowing they come out same model but this time.. with bluetooth.. I wud be annoyed..

It depends if u want to use videocalls. Will u not use it at all, take the 6630. Otherwise go for the V800.

@RicK700i
I have been most impressed with the V800. The battery life is rather good for a 3G handset, especially when compared with the older 3G handsets. The screen is excellent, very bright and clear. The camera does take good pictutres, but it isn't as good as the S700's camera unfortunately and there aren't as many options for the camera as there are with the S700. The handset maintains a good signal and the call quality is good. The 3G features are very nice and I have found Vodafone to have a good 3G signal, where present.
I would most definitely recommend the V800.

i would take either as long as they were free and my monthly contract was nt more than £30 and i got lots of free mins and texts and unlimited non ring fenced browsing.
however dont think i am gonna get this so, i guess i would take the nokia as as least i could never video call someone and frighten them when they see me first thing on a morn or last thing at night |
