There are too many but mostly all are shareware, i found a good free one called cheetah audio contestor. I think dbpower amp is also free n edits mp3s...i've heard a lot of mention of it but never used it tho.

Soundforge (not freeware)
And Nero Wave editor are the ones i use. I have Nero burning ROM so the Wave editor is kinda free-ish provided you have Nero in the first place.

unfortunately for both softwares, saving to mp3 is limited to a number of files/days only. You can however continue using the software and save the output as wav and convert them to mp3 using another software like CDex which is free.

That only applies if you download the demos/donīt register though..

Depends on what you need it for. Audacity is a really nice audio editor, and it reads and exports mp3 if you install the LAME MP3 Encoder Library.

What is happening? I just tried viewing this thread on my pc, and the last post said that my ip was not allowed there or something.. Now i can not read the forum on my pc anymore!

I had the same problem yesterday somehow. I just couldn't access the forum and main page.... Guess the server is down...

It was just because some lame dude posted some f**ked up code.. I think many more than us got that problem yesterday. He got banned by the way.

Well incase I'm not too late...The best MP3 Editor/Mixer for all kinds of souns I have used till date is Total Recorder, made by High Criteria..ou can downlaod the Reg Key from warez sites which will allow you to use the full functions..Great Product though..!

Mp3splitter is the most simple and useful program ive found... its freeware, but i downloaded it of emule..

db poweramp is a really good converter. If you've got the K700i etc it'll cinvert to mp4 which will take up less space, It'll convert everything into anything and vis versa. If you downlod the codecs. Its also free Its good go for it!
