Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could assist me? I have a DSS-25 sync-station and a K700i handset (locked to T-Mobile) running firmware version R2AA003 which I would like to update to the new R2AE033. I have tried several times via the Sony update service to upgrade but once the programme runs it just displays "Operator will not allow updates". Despite many hours trailing through forums for more information I can only establish that the T-Mobile handsets should allow the upgraded, but how do I get the update to upgrade - is there something I need to do first with the handset e.g. get it unlocked?

Any information would be appreciated - many thanks from a very frustrated K700i user!

T-Mobile UK allow updating via the SEUS, but you've already got a newer version than is available online. To get the latest version you'll have to take it to a service center. If it's under warranty the upgrade is free.

Or you can use the DaVinciTeam service to unbrand and update it.

Yes, you need using DaVinci tool for exemple because on the official update service from SE, it's still the R2L version !
