I don't have V800 to test it so any feedback is appreciated. But at least that's the good news. It is not full decustomize so waiting for someone to test it and see what we get.

have you tried it yet? by the way what makes you say partial decustomize?
setool.net implies the EU9 file will fully decustomize the phone from voda branding.
Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

haven't tried it yet as I don't have a V800  ( ...
i think Vodafone icons and possibly live! button are part of the main firmware and there is no "clean" firmware as there is no "clean" V800...
so I think EU9 FS is cleaned from pre defined items like, pics, tones, themes, boot screens, data/wap accounts etc. but that there are still vodafone icons and possibly vodafone live! button
but I might be completly wrong, so until someone tries it we can only guess ...
PS. If someone wants to send me V800 in Croatia I would be more than happy to test it... (if it works I keep the phone  hehehe) |

Ok I am about to fireaway, just got some credits 5 so if I have some left I might donate some to a needy cause. Now I need a little hand before I go ahead here...it seems they only have one file available which is V800 GDFS..OK so thats cool but dont you need a language file as well? This is the only file they have available for download so I am kinda worried.
If it is the only file you need then were do you put it in? Main Firmware or File System Image, or Firmware Upgrade or Misc Files....and do I click Flash or WRITE GDFS? |

i havent used the V800 with setool yet but i believe the GDFS file is to repair "blinking" or dead phones.
there should be an EU9 firmware file uploaded as it says on the main setool page.

you need to download main firmware and eu9 FS file from support area... V800 is located between "K506C and K500C" and "K700 FSA - Firmware: R2AE"... the V800 link at the top doesn't work . so you have to scroll down manually... if you still don't see it so ctrl+F5 on your computer... if you still don't see it contact me on ICQ or email and I'll send them to you  ... GDFS file is to repair phone and you don't need it... if you need any help also with setool I may help... I PMd you my ICQ, MSN |

nice work clearing that up mate. Setool usually has very good support, i though it unlikely they had made a mistake.
