A Warning, Please Heed. Also, p800 related. |

This is a warning from someone who knows. Please pay attention, and moderators, this is a good thing.
I recently dropped my p800 while heavily "Under the influence", and now regret it with a passion.
I had had way too much, and it was all spirits.
For all those who are drinking now, or plan to drink in future, when dealing with spirits, have only VERY little, and your wallet will be safe. In my case, my p800's screen cracked and now only the backlight works on it. I am broke (again from drink) so I need to save for another screen or a new phone.
You have been warned, Alcohol can be dangerous to your health, other's health, and perhaps most importantly on these forums, your phone's.
Heed this warning, and learn from other's mistakes.
Thank you for reading.
Nick
PS: Does anyone have any idea where the cheapest place to get a new screen for a p800 is? Or do you recommend simply buying a p900 off ebay or sumthing? I just REALLY miss the features my p800 offered me that just aren't there in my old Siemens a50 .

I think we should change the slogan "Don't drive drunk." to "Don't phone drunk".
Sorry to hear that mate.
But are you DEEPLY into alcohol? Or did it just happened...
Maybe you have a problem there. Seek for help.

Shame your p800's display had to go the way of the bottle. I really have no idea where u can get a screen replacement. Stay sober, mate.

I always took my T610 out when I intended to have a few drinks as I didnt trust myself to not drop my P800.

Thanks for the condolences all, but it was really my fault. I am looking for replacements now, and thanks for the ebay link!
Oh and to the guy who said something about holding my liquor, I reckon if you had what I did you'd be liable to drop things too. But lets not start a flame war here, we'll all just assume you are some HUGE guy who eats a whole lot ALL the time and can therefore hold liquor well. Good for you.
But seriously folks, that was the last time I have that many spirits. Only Beer, wine and Gold Strike (i can't give them ALL up now can I?) for me from not on. And NO MIXING. It only makes it worse.

Another warning, don't let friends play with your phone. I have a friend that discovered how cool my P910a was then promptly dropped it. Now he is obsessed with my phone and wants to play with it all the time, he won't leave it alone. I feel compelled to use my T616 everytime I know he will be around.
End result, don't show your friends your P series. |

@ The Guy Above
Well said. Especially the Aussie bit, being a Kiwi I can sympathise. However, that said I have just opened myself up to a barrage of "anti-everyone else" australian insults.
