my oppionion,

I think the perfect phone is a phone that meets all your demands. If you only want to call en sms, the T100 is perfect, but people want the form factor of the t100/k700 and have a 4mpx ccd/3 times optical camera, 3" tft screen, mini SD memory card of 1 gb per card, video call with 30 fps, bluetooth headset that fits in your ear without external parts, etc. etc.

for me nearly perfect would be the palm zire 72 if you could call with it, in combination with bluetooth headset. would future SDIO expansion support a simcard?

The Qtek 9090 is very tempting, but at a price of € 900,- it's just too much.

Perfect phones are usually not perfect priced, that's the big deal, so if you want to get something really perfect you'll have to expend $$$, so perfect phone is still the one that meets most of your expectations for the correct amount of money, for me my T610 is perfect, sure I want a S700 or V800, but at the moment T610 was an affordable perfect phone.

A perfect fone mate? Not even - colored . . . I would rather go for the Nokia 8855 here.

@JN, maybe that's perfect for him, I have a friend that still love Trinitron TV sets, have a betamax and drives a 1974 VW Beatle.

Why would I need a colour screen for making phonecalls and sending text messages?

My 8850 is long gone (I now use a T610), but for me it was the perfect phone. Small, light, gorgeous metal housing... yes please.

The 8855 looks cheap in my opinion.

01.dont blame me if this topic is too old, i think now we need to renew this
THis is for what i would like to be perfect phone. First it must write somewhere hehe. Then:
1.weight under 110grams, and not so big
2.Wifi
3.Camera 5...8mpix, with good sensor and optical zoom at least 2x + Xenon
4.At least three touch senzors (k850) if not touchscreen
5.Screen not smaller than 2.4. 2.6' will be ideal, if its 2,8 phone will be brick.
6.Camera cover like in K850 just little bigger button to open it.
7.No need for smartphone, SE original is great
8."Vga at 30fps"
Other features are default: memory card etc..
And probabbly i forget something.

Phone with same size of C905 but slightly sider coz' of 2.6" screen will be great for me. Plus put in the cam-module of Sony T300 digital camera, Android OS(modified, just like what they did with UIQ), it will be the perfect phone for me.

I've used many phones over the years but the one I always come back to is the Blackberry Pearl, ok its got a poor camera, but I find suretype easy and responsive. Wish they'd maybe give it a metal case, but signal/call quality is exceptional and the battery lasts ages, I also prefer the form factor to the rest of the Blackberry range.
