1st of all, i love my S700i and still sleep with it.

here is what i have done to it........

When i tried to call someone on my contact list, she rejected the call, and i pressed "call" again, she still didn't want to pick it up.....ok, here comes the heart-breaking bit, when i tried the 3rd time, the phone stopped responding and screen freezed.....

.......and i finally managed to open up the back cover and took the battery out. rebooted, everything went back to normal.....


i guess the phone reacts to commands a little bit slow than it should be......................and i can tell the menu is still a little bit laggy after a master reset.....


hope the phone can respond quicker after next firmware upgrade.

U could ask in a service to upgrade again with the same fw.

It sounds as if you were just imputting commands too quickly. As others have said, this can hopefully be improved with a firmware upgrade.

i had the same problem with my s700i yesterday
i had a call from a friend suddenly everything freezed, none of the buttons worked:( luckely everything went to normal when i took the battery out
