Hi guys.
Yesterday i got second hand t66 from my friend for a few days,to play with it some time. But she didn't know that the phone has the problem...
The problem is: she bought the phone and she used it with '098' SIM card. When i try to insert card from any other operator i get the message 'Insert correct SIM card'.That means that the phone is locked and it has to be unlocked if i want to use it with some other card,right...?

When i try to insert card from the same operator i get the access to the phone menu and all almost functions, but i can't make calls and send sms because the phone can't register with any network.First it says 'searching' and then i get 'no network' message. What is the problem here...? Does the phone need to be flashed or unlocked...? [addsig]

Its a blocked fone or the radio apart of it is dead, what is almost impossible to fix. It was easy at t28, r320 etc, but t39 radio ap is more complex for example, inside that apart is the problem itself, easier to get a new one. I know its a rarity. U should let it my friend or get a specialist, but as i said, hard to fix.

Its sadly a general illnes as i wrote before. Not sure if it has to do with the size of the fone, but the small mainboard didnt allowed the normal placing and repair of every aparts as usually. To repair that fone is a nightmare, /// gave once another instead of a repair as my friend told me.
