It has got to be the new and smaler memory stick. They can`t make it as thick as Sony MZ-5. That phone feels like a brick compared to Z-5.
But the problem with the new memory stick is that it is to small. At the release the biggest kind will probably be 16 mb. I guess it will be nearly a year untill they will give out something like 128 mb."
Well... I hope they use the half-size MemStick. The P800 is FAT enough as it is...1" thick. Yes, it IS a brick. Sony already has 128MB Mini-MemSticks in production, this is due to the fact that they are also releasing 256MB MemSticks within the year (so half the length, half the capacity). Mini MemSticks can be used in standard slots but not vice versa... so you can stick your miniMS in your Clie, upload your contacts/pictures/etc then just plug it back into the P800.  |

i don't think that sony would release a shorter ms
however, a ms equiped p800 would be great!!

not all memorystick devices are chunky like the MZ5,look at the Clie handhelds,theyre quite slim and are going to be more like the p800 than the MZ5................ |

A memory stick would be v.cool! The more a read about the P800 the more I'm leaning torwards getting one when it's released. I just don't want another buugy phone again. And it lools a bit too big! But the functionanlity is excellent and with a memory stick even better!
Lets wait and see!

they delayed the mms upgread because they wanted the software to be flawless I guess they'll do the same for the p800.
Also does anyone know if it records videos from the cam, The truth is that i forgot to ask at cebit

hmm, I hope it stays close to the size of t68, I just wanna have a nice, compact tool to carry with...rahher than the brick everybody is calling P800  ...what happened to that concept phone/PDA in a leather case...that was nice

When the P800 is released the Memory Stick DUO 16MB is supposed to come with it. There has also been another rumor about a 128MB MS DUO getting released a few months after introduction to incur more sales in the 128MB expansion. When will 256MB come out? I want one so badly. |
